Making Concrete More Freezing/Thawing resistant with Super Air Plus

Super Air Plus are used in all concrete that may be subject to winter freezing. It may be used even when other air entrainers have already been added if the concrete is found not to meet your standard just before placing. Usually for corrections of 1-2% of air entrained concrete use at the rate of 1 bag per truckload. May be used as the primary air-entraining admixture. For a penny or two per square foot, it is among the least expensive admixtures.
Super Air Plus is packaged in a patented, water-soluble inner bag for easy addition at the job site. Super Air Plus is used to increase the air content in exposed concrete that may be subject to freeze/thaw cycles. It improves the durability of the concrete. If you increase entrained air content to about 6%, you greatly reduce the chances of your concrete cracking or showing other damage later due to freezing and thawing.

ADVANTAGES

Dispensing Super Air Plus to a truckload of concrete-Reduces amount of concrete rejected due to low entrained air content.

-Air Plus and Super Air Plus are premeasured dry materials and will not freeze.

-Easily transported and dispensed.

-Improves concrete workability.

-Addition of Air Plus or Super Air Plus will not affect the water/cement ratio.

-Entrained air content may be easily adjusted prior to job site testing.

-Air Plus and Super Air Plus are packaged in water-soluble Fritz-Pak inner bags for convenient use at plant or job site.

COMPATIBILITY

Air Plus and Super Air Plus are compatible with all air entraining admixtures, calcium chloride and other admixtures. When used with other admixtures, each one must be dispensed separately into the mix.
